Welcome to Rebel's Cove Conservation Area located on the banks of the Chariton River in Coatsvilile, Missouri. At the time this description was written in 2021 about 60% of this preserve was forested. The State of Missouri purchased this land with help from the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act. Many anglers come to Rebel's Cove Conservation Area for bass, catfish, and sunfish and many hunters come for deer, dove, quail, rabbit, squirrel, and wild turkey.
