Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area

Fulton, Missouri

Welcome to Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area located in Fulton, Missouri in Callaway County. The preserve's name probably stems from the fact that this region of Missouri received many settlers from Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Much of the preserve's land was once used for agricultural purposes but has returned to a State of Nature. Many anglers come to Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area for bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish and many hunters come for deer (archery only), quail, rabbit, squirrel, and wild turkey. Come out and explore miles of multipurpose trails.
