Welcome to Shoemaker Conservation Area located in Greencastle, Missouri in Adair County. This place was first established in 1989 when someone generously donated 259 acres of land to the Conservation Department. It grew by about 59 acres in 2008. Many hunters come to Shoemaker Conservation Area for bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish and many hunters come for deer, squirrel, and wild turkey.
