Welcome to Hungry Mother Conservation Area located in Higbee, Missouri in Howard County. The State of Missouri first purchased the land for this oak forest preserve in April of 1962. Many archery hunters come to Hungry Mother Conservation Area for deer, squirrel, and wild turkey.
