Welcome to Sunnyside Park in Kansas City, Missouri. This park was first established in 1949 on land that was once owned by Napoleon Boone, great-grandson of Daniel Boone.

Picnicking: The picnic shelter at Sunnyside Park 8 tables, a 48 person seating capacity, and 2 grills. Bring some meats to cook and bring your family and friends.

Kansas City Missouri Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. 7 days a week and close at 11:00 p.m. M-F and midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, bicycles, fires, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, skating.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
