Welcome to Washington Square Park in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. This park was first established in 1921 and was named for George Washington the 1st President of the United States and the park has a statue of him mounted on a horse. The statue is 16 feet 7 inches tall and was dedicated on November 11, 1925.
