Van Meter State Park
Welcome to Missouri's Van Meter State Park, a place rich with Native American history. Jacques Marquette and Louis Joliet marked this site on their map in their 1673 expedition. Today one can see the remains of the Missouria Native American Village. Some of the park's other features include an 18 acre fishing lake, campgrounds, hiking trails, and more. Come out and explore!
Some of the campsites have electricity and some do not. To contact the office please call 660-886-7537.
