Sam A. Baker State Park
Welcome to Sam A. Baker State Park in Patterson, Missouri. This park is a popular swimming hole on a hot summer day. Come out and explore the two mile multipurpose trail which leads up to an old fire tower that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The Saint Francis River is also a fantastic canoe journey. The park was first established in 1926 and is named for the Governor of the time.
