Mineral Hills Conservation Area
Welcome to Mineral Hills Conservation Area located in Unionville, Missouri in Putnam County. The State of Missour purchased the first parcel of land in 1983, the second in 1986, and the third in 2000. The area got it's name due to the fact that it was the location of many strip mines in the early 20th century. In fact to this day one can still see collapsed tunels and railing pilings. Come out and see beautiful wildflowers in the spring and summer seasons.
Fishing and Hunting: Many anglers come to Mineral Hills Conservation Area for bass, catfish, and sunfish and many hunters come for deer, quail, rabbit, squirrel, and wild turkey.
