Welcome to Shannon Ranch Conservation Area located near Vanzant, Missouri in Douglas County. This natural oasis is named after the Shannon Family, who once owned and operated a farm on the land for many years. Today much of the land has been reforested with oaks, hickories, pines, and cedars and helps protect wildlife habitat for white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, and many others.
