Welcome to Hite Prairie State Conservation Area in Versailles, Missouri. This preserve helps protect a type of grass prairie that once covered over 15M acres in Missouri. In the spring and summer months one will see countless blooming wildflowers and during the right season hunters come for deer, dove, quail, rabbit, and wild turkey.
