Lake Girardeau Conservation Area

Welcome to Lake Girardeau Conservation Area located on the shores of Lake Girardeau near Whitewater, Missouri in Cape Girardeau County. The State of Missouri first purchased this land in 1962 and then constructed the 162 acre lake 2 years later in 1964. The fishing pier is ADA accessible and one can catch bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie.
