Dr. Edmond A. Babler State Park

Welcome to Missouri's active and popular Dr. Edmond A. Babler State Park located near Saint Louis. This park was first established in 1934 when a man named Henry Babler and his brother Jacob donated their land to the State for recreational use and asked that it be named in memory of their brother Edmond who was a locally renouned surgeon. The Civilian Conservation Corps helped build many of the park's facilities.
