Whetstone Creek Conservation Area

Welcome to Missouri's Whetstone Creek Conservation Area, a wilderness of grasslands, wetlands, and forest located near Williamsburg. Federal Grants helped the State of Missouri to purchase this land from it's previous owner Mr. Molasky in 1976 for a price of $2.5M. Much of the land was previously cattle ranch but has since returned to a state of nature.
