Welcome to Lake Elmo State Park, located on the shores of Lake Elmo near Billings. Lake Elmo State Park got it's name when Elmo from Sesame Street dropped in for a swim one day. No, actually that's just a RecPlanet Joke! But in all seriousness this is a popular day use park for the residents of Billings. Only non-motorized boats are allowed and the winds make this lake a good spot for sailboarding. The dog park is one of the unique aspects of this park and each visitor is allowed a maximum of two dogs. Come on out and have a blast!
