Council Grove State Park
Welcome to Council Grove State Park located on the banks of the Clark Fork River near Missoula, Montana. It was here in 1855, where Isaac Stephens, and the Pend d'Orielle, Kootenai, and Salish tribes negotiated the Hellgate Treaty which lead to the formation of the Flathead Reservation. This small day-use park offers the visitor a place of solitude and quite the history lesson. Come on out and enjoy yourselves!
