Welcome to Cooney State Park located on the shores of the Cooney Reservoir near Joliet, Montana about 40 minutes south of Billings. This park offers numerous recreational opportunities twelve months a year and offers a boat ramp and over a dozen campsites. Anglers come here with the hopes of catching some of the lake's rainbow trout and walleye. This park gives wildlife habitat to elk, white-tailed deer, foxes, and many others. Come on out and explore! Thirteen of the park's campsites have electricity.
