Leah Chiles Park

Welcome to Leah Chiles Park in Asheville, North Carolina. This park is named for the first woman to serve as a mayor in Western North Carolina which would also make her Asheville's first woman mayor. Come play some catch on the lawn, shoot some baskets at the half court, and bring the children to the playground.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; camping, defacing public property, gambling, harming plants or animals, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; boating, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, swimming.

*All users of the skate park must wear helmets.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
