Haw River State Park
Browns Summit, North Carolina
Welcome to North Carolina's Haw River State Park located in the Piedmont Region not too far from Greensboro. This park was first established in 2003 as part of what was called The New Century Initiative. Over the years it has grown to nearly 5 times it's original size. Come out and explore over five miles of hiking trails where may see box turtles, blue herons, otters, woodpeckers, and many others.
