Welcome to North Carolina's beautiful Chimney Rock State Park located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This natural rock formation rises 315 feet above the surrounding area and makes for a very scenic hike as well as great exercise and a very nice view. This is actually one of North Carolina's newer state parks having been first established in 2005 and has grown in size over the years.
