Welcome to North Carolina's Merchants Millpond State Park located in a forest and wetland region located not too far from the North Carolina coast. For many years this region's timber resources were harvested before suffering a decline around World War II. The park rents out canoes and kayaks and for the terrestrial explorer there are about 9 miles of hiking trails.
