Southwest Park
Welcome to one of the newer parks in the Greensboro, North Carolina region, the beautiful Southwest Park. This park is much more of a nature park than many of the other parks in the region, it's grass is never mowed. Some of the wild animals that make their home here include white-tailed deer, snapping turtles, raccoons, peregrine falcons, red-tailed hawks, copperheads, and many others. For the human visitor there are hiking trails to be explored, a park for the doggies, awesome bird-watching opportunities, canoe and kayak launches, and more. Come out and explore!
