Welcome to Kerr Lake State Recreation Area located in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Kerr Lake itself is enormous at over 50,000 acres in size and has shoreline in both North Carolina and Virginia. Kerr Lake is considered one of the best fishing lakes on the United States eastern seaboard.
Camping: The park has numerous campgrounds with a total of over 160 developed campsites with electricity and water.
