Fort Raleigh National Historic Site

Welcome to North Carolina's historic and beautiful Fort Raleigh National Historic Site located on Roanoke Island. This park helps protect the site of the first English New World Settlement which was inhabited from 1584 until 1590. This park has trails with wonderful views of the Croatan Sound and a lot of history to be learned.
