Welcome to the beautiful Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area located in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina right next door to the North Carolina Aquarium. This natural park helps protect the habitat of raccoons, numerous bird species and shellfish. For the human visitor there is a nature trail just waiting to be explored! The park was named for one of the greatest presidents in United States history, Theodore Roosevelt who helped to protect so many of the nation's wild lands.
