Welcome to Fred Fletcher Park located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This park is the former site of the Methodist Home for Children and was purchased by the City in 1982. Some of it's amenities include a multipurpose field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and more. To reserve one of the park picnic shelters call 919-831-6833. Come out and have fun!

Fun Fact: This park was named for the brother of Dumb and Dumber's Fraid Felcher (RecPlanet Joke).

Raleigh North Carolina Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.

*The following are prohibited; climbing trees, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, sleeping, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All skate parks require use of helmets and pads.

*All dogs must be leashed, waste removed, and kept off playgrounds.
