Welcome to Southgate Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. This park was first established in 1971 and the community center is named for a fallen Iraq War veteran Sergeant Courtney T. Johnson.

Picnicking: Southgate Park's picnic shelter has 4 tables, a 36-60 person capacity, and 1 grill. Come brings some meats to cook and bring the family and friends.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.

*The following are prohibited; climbing trees, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, sleeping, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All skate parks require use of helmets and pads.

*All dogs must be leashed, waste removed, and kept off playgrounds.
