Lake Norman State Park
Welcome to North Carolina's Lake Norman State Park located on the shores of North Carolina's largest manmade lake. The park's human history dates back to the Catawba Native American tribe who actually had conflicts with the Iroquois over this land. In more recent years Revolutionary Battles were planned here even some by Cornwallis himself. The park was first established in September of 1962. Come out for a day of aquatic recreation and diverse wildlife viewing.
The campground has 32 developed campsites. To contact the office please call 704-528-6350.
