Welcome to the beautiful Icelandic State Park in Cavalier, North Dakota. One of this park's buildings pay's tribute to North Dakota's Icelandic Homesteaders and that is how the park got it's name. 200 acres of this park are part of the Gunlogson State Nature Preserve. This park also boasts over 4 miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons.
Camping: Icelandic State Park boasts 134 modern campsites with electricity and water, 7 group sites and 10 primitive sites. Come out and stay a few nights.
