Atkinson Nature Park

Welcome to Atkinson Nature Park in Bismarck, North Dakota. This is one of Bismarck's larger recreation areas and is home to the Riverwood Golf Course, the Nishu Bowmen Archery Range (which has options indoors as well as outdoors), and the Walt Neuens Memorial Horse Arena. Come out and hike the 1.65 mile hiking and equestrian trail.

The nearby Water Treatment Plant has lots of green space and is thus included in this park's acreage.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, fires, horseback riding.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*Overnight camping requires special permit.
