McNish Park
Welcome to McNish Park in Fairbury, Nebraska. It was in 1920 when the city first purchased this land and for years it was known as Highland Park. In 1933 park board chairman W.F. Cramb drew up plans for a boy scout cabin, a historic structure that still stands in the park to this very day. In October 1935 a woman named Sylvia McNish bequeathed some land to the city and Highland Park grew in size and was eventually renamed McNish Park on June 8 1941. In 1999 the park’s disc golf course was designed and built by Lincoln architect Brad Packett who himself was very good at the sport. Come out and have fun.
