Stolley Park
Welcome to Stolley Park located in Grand Island, Nebraska. This beautiful urban park was named for William Stolley, a German Immigrant who arrived in Nebraska in the mid 19th century. As a local citizen he helped to create the local school district and served as the director for several years. In 1927, the Nebraska State Legislature designated this as Stolley State Park, but today, it is owned by the City of Grand Island.
