Walgren Lake State Recreation Area

Welcome to Walgren Lake State Recreation Area in Hay Springs, Nebraska. Legend has it that this park's 50 lake is inhabited by a monster not too different from Loch Ness. It is fact however that this lake has a high panfish population. The park also has 40 primitive campsites, a stone picnic shelter with grills, and a nice playground for the children.
