Welcome to Wagon Train State Recreation Area located near Hickman, Nebraska. This park boasts a mile of multipurpose trails just waiting to be explored.

Boating and Fishing: All types of boats are allowed on the park's 315 acre lake but the 5MPH speed limit must be respected. The lake has sunfish, walleye, piper, bass, catfish, and many others.

Swimming: The park's lake also has a swimming beach for hot summer days but there are no lifeguards on duty so please swim at your own risk.

Picnicking: The picnic area has one shelter as well as 125 tables and 109 grills.

Camping: This park boasts 28 RV sites with electrical hookups that range from 20-50 amps and there are 80 primitive sites without electricity but all sites have access to restrooms.
