Highlands South Park

Highlands South Park is a beautiful piece of urban green space in Lincoln, Nebraska. It has the paved multipurpose Highlands Recreation Trail and an open grassy field that is great for kite flying.

Lincoln Nebraska Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, harming wild animals.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, motor vehicles, picnic grilling, horseback riding, golfing.

*All sales and advertising require special permit.

*All dogs must be leashed.
