Welcome to Nebraska's beautiful Branched Oak State Recreation Area located on the shores of Branched Oak Lake near Raymond.

Boating and Fishing: At over 1,800 acres in size Branched Oak Lake is the largest lake in eastern Nebraska and is open to all types of watercraft. The park's marina has watercraft rentals and sells fuel. Some of the popular catches include striped bass, freshwater drum, and walleye.

Camping: Branched Oak State Recreation Area has modern as well as primitive campsites. The modern campground has over 300 sites with electrical hookups. Dump stations and hot showers are located nearby. The primitive campground has 187 sites.

Picnicking: Branched Oak State Recreation Area has a very large picnic area with 588 grills and 625 tables. One of the shelters can fit up to 60 people.

Trails: Branched Oak State Recreation Area boasts many miles of trails including three miles of equestrian trails, six miles of mountain biking trails, and seven miles of hiking trails. Come out and explore.
