Maskenthine Lake Recreation Area
Welcome to Maskenthine Lake Recreation Area in Stanton, Nebraska. The reservoir was created in 1976 when it became necessary to dam Maskenthine Creek in order to provide flood control for the City of Stanton. The result was this scenic 100 acre lake which is annually stocked with bass, bluegill, bullhead, crappie, and yellow perch. Boats are allowed but there is a 5mph speed limit that is strictly enforced. Both the swimming beach and fishing piers are ADA accessible.
Camping: The campground at Maskenthine Lake Recreation Area has 33 RV sites with electrical hookups. Come out and stay a few nights.
