Summit Lake State Recreation Area

Welcome to Summit Lake State Recreation Area in Tekamah, Nebraska. This park's central feature is it's 390 acre lake. Come out and explore 10 miles of equestrian trails as well as 2 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.

Boating and Fishing: All boaters must respect the 5MPH speed limit and angers can hope to catch bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and walleye. Come out and cast a line and best of luck to you.

Camping: Summit Lake SRA's campground has 76 campsites, 33 basic and 43 electric. Come out and stay a few nights.

Picnicking: The picnic area at Summit Lake SRA has 2 shelters, 73 tables, and 64 grills. Come bring some meats to cook and bring the family and friends.
