Welcome to one of the newer additions to the Nebraska Park System, Smith Falls State Park located in Valentine Nebraska on the banks of the Niobrara National Scenic River. Due to the fragility of this park's ecosystem hikers are required to stay on the trails. There are no developed campsites here but there is tent camping and also access to the Niobrara River. The falls themselves are 70 feet high making them the highest in Nebraska. Come out and explore.
