Weeks State Park

Lancaster, New Hampshire

Welcome to New Hampshire's Weeks State Park. The land that is now Weeks State Park once belonged to the family of John Wingate Weeks who was a U.S. Conservationist, Congressman, Senator, and Secretary of War under the Harding and Coolidge Administrations. In 1941, Sinclair Weeks and Katherine Weeks Davidge, son and daughter of John Weeks, generously donated this land to the State of New Hampshire. From the summit of Mount Prospect inside the park, one can see the Green Mountains of Vermont, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Connecticut River Valley, the Kilkenny Range and the Percy Peaks on a clear day. Come on out and explore!
