Pillsbury State Park

Washington, New Hampshire

Welcome to one of the lesser developed as well as lesser known State Parks in the State of New Hampshire, the beautiful Pillsbury State Park located along the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway near the town of Washington. This beautiful oasis of forests and wetlands helps protect the wildlife habitat of red-tailed hawks, moose, black bears, bald eagles, foxes, coyotes, and many others. The history buff can come here to see what remains of agricultural settlements from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This park is open year round but is only staffed from May 25-September 3rd. Some of it's amenities include miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons, 35 campsites (14 standard, 6 tent only, and 11 remote), and much more. Come out and explore!
