Welcome to New Jersey's beautfiul Barnegat Lighthouse State Park located on the northern end of Long Beach Island. This beacon has historic importance as having been one of the more crucial "change of course" points for North Atlantic vessels. The lighthouse itself was first built in 1859 and today offers a spectacular view of the surrounding region. It is open daily from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
