Tourne County Park
Welcome to Morris County's Tourne County Park located in the Appalachian Foothills of Denville, New Jersey. The history of this land dates back to the 18th century when it was the estate of David Ogden, the Colonial Attorney-General of New Jersey at the time. This land was mined for it's metal resources which went towards making weapons used by the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. In more recent times people came out here to hike and picnic even before it was a county park. Today the park boasts multipurpose trails for all seasons and a magnificent view from the top. Come out and explore!
