Anderson Woods Preserve

Harding, New Jersey

Welcome to Anderson Woods Preserve located in Harding, New Jersey not far from Jockey Hollow National Historic Park. Anderson Woods Preserve is a forested park of oaks, hickories, beeches, and maples and was harvested for it's timber resources during World War II. Today it helps protect the waters of Primrose Brook and the forest habitats. This land was once owned by a couple named Edgar and Joyce Anderson. In 2007 they sold 15 acres to the Harding Land Trust and Anderson Woods Preserve was established. The Andersons still live on land adjacent to this property.
