Saddle River County Park

Welcome to Saddle River County Park located on the banks of Saddle River in Ridgewood, New Jersey, a suburb of The Big Apple. Although the address in the profile is Ridgewood, other sections of the park are in the towns of Saddle Brook, Glen Rock, Rochelle Park, Paramus, and Fair Lawn.

The Rochelle Park section of the park is located on Railroad Avenue and contains a softball field, a picnic area, an ADA accessible playground, 2 tennis courts, and a basketball court.

The Saddle Brook Section is known as the Otto C. Pehle Area and has an area for remote control watercraft, ball diamonds, a playground and a picnic area.

The Paramus Section is known as the Dunkerhook Area and is located off of Paramus Road. This section contains athletic fields for baseball/softball as well as football/soccer (permit required), 3 tennis courts, a playground, a picnic area as well as the historic Easton Tower.

The Glen Rock Area is located off of Prospect Avenue and contains 2 tennis courts, an area for fishing and remote control watercraft, a playground, and a picnic area.

The Ridgewood Area is known as the Wild Duck Pond Area and has a dog park, a playground, a picnic area, and an area for fishing and remote control watercraft.

Please note that in any Bergen County Park both fishing and remote control watercraft require special permits which in the case of fishing is a State of New Jersey fishing license.
