Welcome to Sandia Foothills Open Space Park. It is 2,650 acres of of land located in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. The park boasts several multi-use trails and is home to many species of plants including prickly pear cactus, juniper trees, and pinon trees. Some of the parks wild animals include black bears, coyotes, mountain lions, rattlesnakes, rabbits, and several species of birds. Please treat their home with respect. Come on out and explore.
