Welcome to Datil Well National Recreation Site. This park is the site of one of 15 water wells located along the old Magdalena Livestrock Driveway, an old cattle trail of the 19th century stretching 120 miles from Magdalena, New Mexico to Springerville, Arizona.For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts over three miles of trails, awesome views of the San Augustin Plains, 22 campsites, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
