Dripping Springs Natural Area

Welcome to the spectacular Dripping Springs Natural Area nestled in the Organ mountains not far from Las Cruces New Mexico. The organ mountains, with elevations over 9,000 feet ASL, are named for their needle-like spires that resemble the pipes of an organ.

Dripping Springs Natural Area is noted for it’s weeping walls and helps protect the habitat of four wildflower species, pinon pines, oaks, junipers, chipmunks, hawks, mountain lions, squirrels, mule deer, coyotes, sparrows, woodpeckers, wrens, and golden eagles. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this preserve boasts over four miles of trails, 12 picnic sites, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
