Welcome to Storrie Lake State Park! The park's windy conditions provide a great opportunity for sailers and windsurfers. The park also offers 45 developed campsites. The park is located outside of Las Vegas New Mexico (Not to be confused with the real Las Vegas of course), the city where the 1984 movie Red Dawn was filmed. Actor Patrick Swayze spent some of his final days living in this town. Other men who also lived in this town include famous outlaws such as Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, and Doc Holliday. The campground at the park is 45 developed campsites.
