Welcome to Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge located on the Atlantic Coast of Eastern Long Island.

 

Refuge History: Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge was established on December 16, 1968.

 

Flora and Fauna: Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge helps protect the habitat of numerous plant and animal species. Some of the plants that grow inside the refuge boundaries include wild roses, poison ivy, beach plums, beach goldenrods, green briars, red cedars, and many others. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include ducks, seagulls, warblers, doves, sparrows, blackbirds, and many others. Please treat their home with respect.

 

For the lover of the outdoors Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge boasts numerous fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. Come on out and have a blast!
